Meet Adrian Ganderton

For many years, Adrian had a successful career in law, while creating bespoke occasion cakes in his spare time for family and friends. Today, Adrian has turned his passion, and once part-time hobby, into a full-time thriving business.

Through Adrian’s passion for cake, creativity and a fastidious approach to quality, he has built an impressive local reputation, one based on three guiding principles – to deliver an exceptional, friendly, personal service, every time; to create a unique, eye-catching design, just for you, that exceeds expectations; and finally, handcraft a cake which is full of a rich balance of flavour and expertly baked to perfection.

Tree House Cakes are fully registered and insured as a food business and has been awarded a 5-star hygiene rating.

Tree House Cakes are based in the market town of Loughborough and create spectacular, handcrafted cakes for weddings and all special celebrations throughout the East Midlands region, with an online shop too, delivering yummy mini cake treats by post. We can bake delicious dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan cakes too. We'd love to hear from you!

My son chose a 3-tier wedding cake with distinctive flavours, Adrian suggested covering it in a white chocolate ganache as my daughter-in-law didn’t want icing - it worked perfectly! The cake had beautiful hand-crafted sails placed on the side and it tasted as amazing as it looked. Thank you so much for being so professional, accommodating and friendly.

I planned a wedding with only five weeks' notice and Adrian was like a knight in shining armour squeezing me in to his full diary. He was absolutely brilliant with making suggestions and completely flexible. He was professional, helpful and friendly throughout. Delivery on the day was prompt and Adrian set the cake up at the venue perfectly. The cake looked absolutely stunning and tasted delicious. We were over the moon with it.

Adrian did our wedding cake which was absolutely fantastic. My husband's biggest regret was that he never got a slice of his salted caramel layer as it went down so well with the guests. As a surprise, Adrian remade this for a Christmas gift for him and let me tell you now, it was exceptional! We now understand why it went so quickly!!!
